James, I'm going to keep an eye on your progress professionally. I wish you the best of luck on your journey forward, and envy you for your determination to get to where you already are. One day I may stand beside you on the podium. After all, 'Hey, it could happen' right? Scratch that, I will stand beside you one day. I'll be at LimeRock tomorrow (Saturday 5/24), and will keep an eye out for you (if I'm able to get into the paddocks that is). I'm in the infantile stages of the same type of battle you're currently fighting, but have no intention of quitting. My day at SkipBarber last year (at LimeRock) further confirmed both my desire to turn my passion into a profession, and that I do have some talent behind the wheel. For now, I'm still just reading blogs, and am just another anonymous face in the crowd admiring the drivers for doing what they do, but one day... ...one day.
Good luck this weekend. Which day will you be piloting your car? Which car will you be in? As said, I'll be sure to keep an eye out for you.
Remember, gas on the right, clutch on the left, and then there's that other pedal in the middle...
Dear James,
The blog is great. It confirms everything my son Andrew has been telling me about his arduous quest into motorsports. Keep up the good work and lots of luck with the awesome new team, APR. You probably met my son, Andrew Tucker (with APR)at Limerock this past weekend. Tell him hello. You'll probably see him before I do!
Lots of Luck,
Ronnie Tucker
Thanks Ronnie!
I did meet Andrew at Lime Rock and he is a great guy! I really enjoyed working with him and can tell that he shares a true passion for racing as well. I look forward to working with him in up coming races and hope to meet you soon!
