- MotoGP World Championship

Don’t miss out on the speed, intensity, or pageantry of MotoGP, motorcycling’s equivalent to Formula 1. The world’s best riders compete around the globe on high tech 800cc prototypes designed and built by the top engineers that Ducati, Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, and Kawasaki have to offer, each capable of speeds well in excess of 200mph and boasting acceleration unrivaled in any other form of roadracing, two or four wheeled.
Last season young Australian Casey Stoner claimed his first title in the premier class and will attempt to defend in 2008 against a stacked field of challengers led by the legendary Valentino Rossi and the 2006 world champion, American Nicky Hayden. Former 250GP champions Dani Pedrosa, Marco Melandri, and Jorge Lorenzo, and former World Superbike champions Colin Edwards and James Toseland are also expected to play major roles in this season’s anticipated title fight.
