  • The Harley Rocker and Rocker C.

On this first ever motorcycle version of the hit series Test Drive we’ll take a cruise on the new Harley-Davidson Rocker and Rocker C. These new additions to the Softail family models are a radical move by the Harley design team and feature a long front end and a wide rear tire, two features, that until now, have been reserved for custom chopper builders.

The Rocker and Rocker C are powered by Harley-Davidson’s fuel injected, 96 (1584cc) twin cam counterbalanced motor mated to a 6-speed cruise drive transmission. The Rocker’s rear fender is attached directly to the swing arm which enables it to move up and down with the 240MM rear tire. The high-end custom look is enhanced by LED rear blinkers, V bars and new gauge console.

The Rocker C model has a trick fold out seat, a lot more chrome and a black-powder coated engine compared the Rockers’ silver painted engine with satin metallic powder coated finish which is also used on it’s wheels, fork lowers, triple clamp, horse shoe oil tank and swing arm just to name a fewcomponents.

In this show, Bill Davidson shares his personal stories about growing up a Davidson and his father, the legendary Willie G. Davidson, explains exactly how these new Rocker models came to fruition.

Bill Davidson joins host, Sean Matic and a group of friends in Southern California for a spirited ride up the Pacific Coast Highway, through the hills of Malibu and then meet freestyle motocross legend Carey Hart, to make the scene on the streets of Hollywood.
